Snucky Babies (originally posted 8/27/12)

  Is there anything more miserable than an infant with a stuffy nose?  Who knows if it’s allergies or a cold, but that child is miserable.  Then comes the adventure that we call snucking….I think doctors call it a “nasal aspirator”, but round here, we call it a snucker.  You know, the little blue turkey baster looking thingy that the hospital gives you when you take the baby home.  I can handle using it on an 8 month old, but with a ONE month old, it’s kind of like stuffing a telephone pole into a two inch hole!  Thank God my wife is home, she is an expert snucker.  I, however, am merely a proselyte in the field.  I hope he clears up soon.
